SignPost Magazine Archive Page

Between 1980 and 2001, SignPost, a Deaf Christian magazine by the Deaf for the Deaf  was circulated worldwide to over 1000 subscribers. In the project, we collected every issue and converted them into digital format (PDF). Click on each issue to enjoy

Background:
Patricia Erlandsen was in charge of Deaf Ministry at Mt Gravatt Assembly of God in its early days. At that time, she came up with an idea of spreading the Gospel through magazine. The original idea  was taken from two Scriptures

1. To provide through the magazine signs for the deaf on the Highway of Holiness

A highway will be there, a roadway, And it will be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean will not travel on it, But it will be for him who walks that way, And fools will not wander on it.”

2. And the promise that the deaf shall hear the Word of God through the magazine

“On that day the deaf will hear words of a book, And out of their gloom and darkness the eyes of the blind will see”.
