Signs Church purchased a land at Loganlea for the purpose of building a place of worship. The building is doubled as a base of operation for many of Signs Church's ministry to the Deaf Community.
The 1350 square metres land is at 193-195 Loganlea Road, Loganlea. It is close to Logan Hospital, Griffith University Logan Campus and commercial area.
Currently, we have received a promise from MMM International (see www.mmm.org.au) that they will provide labour at no cost to the building project.
The size of the building is depending on the construction and project cost. At the moment, we are looking at 150 square metres and perhaps, building it in 2 or 3 stages.
We aim to build multi-purpose and deaf-friendly building. We expect after the completion of the project, to expand the services into areas such as Auslan class, Adult Education, and literacy class for Deaf people. Also, the building will be hired out to any organisation during the week (as one source of income).
We have sufficient fund for first stage and seek God's for another $50K to $100K. We welcome any donation to build first church building built and owned by the Deaf Church in Australia. To help, click here to go to Help webpage
We will post photo of the development online. Check photo webpage regularly.
